Overview

We are seeking an innovative and operationally-minded AI Automation Engineer to join our team. This individual will bring a unique blend of insurance industry experience and a passion for leveraging AI to improve workflows, enhance efficiency, and support scalable growth.


This role is ideal for someone who has worked as an Account Manager within an insurance agency environment and has independently explored automation tools, AI platforms, and workflow optimization. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities to streamline service processes and implementing practical, impactful solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing account management and service workflows to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains
  • Design, build, and implement AI-driven solutions to streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational consistency
  • Partner with Account Managers, Producers, and leadership to understand day-to-day challenges and translate them into automation solutions
  • Develop and maintain automated workflows across systems such as AMS platforms, CRM tools, and communication channels
  • Pilot and test emerging AI tools to assess applicability within insurance operations
  • Document processes, workflows, and automation logic to ensure scalability and team adoption
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on newly implemented tools and processes
  • Continuously monitor and optimize automation performance, identifying areas for refinement


Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in an insurance agency environment, preferably in an Account Manager or service-related role
  • Strong understanding of insurance workflows, systems, and client service processes
  • Demonstrated interest or hands-on experience with AI tools, automation platforms, or workflow optimization (formal experience not required)
  • Familiarity with tools such as Zapier, Make (Integromat), ChatGPT/OpenAI, CRM systems, or similar technologies is a plus
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose practical solutions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical concepts and business needs
  • Self-starter mentality with a curiosity for learning and experimenting with new technologies
