We are hiring an Accounting Clerk / Accounting Assistant to join Robert Half’s Loan Staff Consultant Program.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their accounting career while gaining exposure to different companies, industries, and accounting teams. As part of our Loan Staff Program, you would be a full-time Robert Half employee and assigned to client projects where you can support day-to-day accounting operations, special projects, and coverage needs.
What you’ll be doing:
As an Accounting Clerk / Accounting Assistant Consultant, you may assist with:
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable support
- Invoice processing, coding, and data entry
- Payment posting and account reconciliations
- Vendor and customer communication
- Matching, batching, and filing accounting documents
- Assisting with month-end close support
- Maintaining accurate records in accounting systems
- Supporting accounting teams with administrative and project-based needs
What we’re looking for:
- 1+ year of accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or finance-related experience preferred
- Entry-level accounting candidates with internships or accounting coursework are welcome to apply
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with Excel and accounting systems
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus
