As an Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving Kforce’s growth by connecting top talent with leading clients. This is a consultative, relationship‑driven sales role with uncapped earning potential.



Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through referrals, networking, social media, research, and direct client outreach
  • Schedule and lead client meetings to position Kforce’s staffing, project, and technology consulting solutions
  • Build trusted, long‑term client relationships and become a market expert
  • Understand client strategies, goals, and workforce needs
  • Deliver engaging, consultative presentations to decision‑makers
  • Negotiate bill rates, contract terms, and fees
  • Partner with internal recruiting teams to deliver high‑quality talent solutions to clients
  • Manage client relationships throughout the assignment lifecycle to expand account penetration
  • Monitor and ensure ongoing client satisfaction
  • Grow client accounts




Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2–5 years of experience in staffing or professional sales
  • Strong consultative, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong internet research skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the Boston market area.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $60,000 – $88,900 (in accordance with Massachusetts pay equity law)
  • Uncapped monthly commissions based on performance metrics
  • Hybrid work schedule
  • 17 days PTO (increasing with tenure)
  • 8 paid holidays PLUS firm closure for one week during the holidays
