Mid-Market Account Executive (Founding Sales Team)
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (HQ) | Salt Lake City/Lehi, UT | Scottsdale, AZ
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent In-Office Policy: Mandatory 5 Days In-Office (Non-Negotiable) Compensation: 70k-100k base $140,000 – $200,000 OTE (50/50 Base/Variable Split)

Founded by former lead autonomous vehicle engineers from Lyft, we are transforming the physical security industry. Our hardware-agnostic software overlay plugs into existing security cameras, instantly upgrading legacy infrastructure with "ChatGPT-style" natural language video search and proactive threat tracking (such as firearm detection).
We are category disruptors experiencing hyper-growth. Last year, 88% of our sales team hit quota, with an average team attainment of 140%. We are actively looking for our first few founding Account Executives to scale our mid-market division.
The Role
As a mid-market AE, you won’t be waiting around for inbound leads. This is a high-velocity, outbound-heavy closing role where you will "think through deals," map complex corporate hierarchies, and build multi-threaded relationships. You will own the full sales cycle from initial outbound prospecting to close.
- Average Deal Size: $35,000+ ACV
- Sales Velocity: Fast-moving ~45-day sales cycle
- Target Sectors: Education (K-12 & Higher Ed), Commercial Real Estate, Retail, Healthcare/Hospitality, and Logistics/Warehousing.
- Quarterly Quota: $180,000 – $240,000 (depending on assigned territory/vertical)
Who You Are ("The Early-Career Killer")
We are looking for a high-slope, high-execution sales professional. You are likely early in your closing career but possess the raw grit, intelligence, and methodology to build a massive pipeline.
- Experience: 2 to 6 years of progressive B2B sales experience.
- Foundations: Must have a proven track record as an SDR/BDR, followed by a minimum of 2 years in a dedicated closing role.
- Deal Complexity: Proven experience handling complex mid-market sales cycles. (Note: This is not a transaction-heavy, one-call SMB close role, nor is it a multi-year enterprise relationship manager role).
- Skills: Expert-level outbound hunting, multi-threading, navigating around roadblocks, and creating multiple champions within a single target account.
- Methodology: Deep familiarity with structured sales frameworks like MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, or BANT.
- Industry Openness: While we love tech backgrounds, we are highly open to exceptional closers from outside SaaS or cybersecurity (e.g., medical devices, logistics, industrial supplies) if you have managed complex mid-market deal velocity.
