Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Executive to join our growing integrated commerce agency. This role partners closely with the Senior Account Executive and Account Supervisor to support the planning and execution of shopper marketing programs for a premium CPG client.

The Account Executive will manage day-to-day project coordination, working with internal teams to ensure programs are delivered on time and within budget. Ideal candidates have 2-3 years of CPG, retail, or agency experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and an understanding of the retail marketing landscape.

Responsibilities include timeline management, meeting coordination, creative reviews and change orders, and status reporting to support successful program delivery.

Responsibilities

Client & Account Management

  • Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for assigned client stakeholders.
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and reliable execution.
  • Lead and coordinate regular client status meetings for ongoing projects.
  • Prepare and distribute clear meeting recaps and action items within 24 hours.
  • Attend and contribute to client meetings, both virtual and in-person as needed.


Project Execution & Creative Development

  • Ensure program recommendations align with client sales objectives, marketing strategies, and retailer priorities.
  • Manage the creative development process by coordinating internal teams and ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Ensure receipt and adherence to client-approved creative guidelines and communication priorities.
  • Coordinate the collection of required electronic files and artwork from client partners or vendors.
  • Support the execution of retail promotions, shopper marketing programs, and custom platforms.


Budget & Timeline Management

  • Support in management of project timelines and ensure all stakeholders are informed of key milestones and potential risks.
  • Monitor and communicate scope changes that may impact timing, deliverables, or cost.
  • Submit change orders & quotes within budget management system.
  • Support account leadership in maintaining overall account profitability.


Compliance & Process Management

  • Follow agency processes and operational procedures to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Coordinate the execution of digital media/print campaigns such as offsite and onsite banners, email blasts, brand pages, digital coupons, aisle blades, endcaps, etc.
  • Partner with internal teams to support seamless campaign execution across disciplines.
  • Stay informed on shopper marketing and retail industry trends through trade publications, reports, and ongoing learning.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-3 years of agency experience, preferably within shopper marketing, retail marketing, or CPG.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
