What You Will Be Doing
- Architect and execute premium educational experiences – Develop workshops spanning math, science, philosophy, and creative writing while delivering 1-on-1 guidance to 15-20 exceptional students advancing at 5-10x standard speed
- Identify and resolve learning barriers – Modify methods dynamically to support students who have surpassed conventional education and help them discover their intellectual advantage
- Harness AI for tailored instruction
- Partner and refine – Enhance workshop frameworks alongside colleagues and measure effectiveness using both qualitative input and quantitative data
Basic Requirements
Academic Guide key responsibilities
- Distinguished educational background – Bachelor's degree from an Ivy League institution or comparable university
- Proven academic achievement – National Merit Finalist, Olympiad medalist, early college graduation, or equivalent distinction
- Exceptional academic credential – Prestigious scholarship (Rhodes, Fulbright, NSF GRFP), membership in Mensa/Triple Nine Society, PhD, or experience teaching at the university level
- 3 years of mentorship background – Experience coaching, mentoring, or instructing students in any setting
- Regular AI engagement – Self-reported daily use of generative AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
- Geographic requirement – Ability to relocate to or work on-site in Austin (Georgetown), TX
- Employment eligibility – Authorization to work legally in the U.S. without sponsorship requirements

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
