Roles and Responsibilities

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cucumber with Java/Selenium.
- Write clear and effective feature files, step definitions, and scenarios in Gherkin syntax.C2
- Perform manual testing and create automated tests to ensure rigorous quality assurance.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand project specifications and develop testing strategies.
- Conduct regression testing to validate bug fixes and enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on design and testability.
- Maintain and improve the existing test automation framework.
- Prepare test reports and metrics to communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).
- Experience with test case design and execution, both manual and automated.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
