Role & responsibilities

Must-Have**

• System Administration: Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle Grid Infrastructure and databases on Exadata (on-premise or OCI).
  Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance (CPU, I/O) and optimize SQL queries by utilizing Smart Scan and Columnar Compression.
  Infrastructure Monitoring: Monitor Exadata cell nodes, storage, and InfiniBand network switches.

Good-to-Have

• OCA/OCP certified engineers, GoldenGate Config & Maintenance, Managing AIX/Windows OS.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

L3 DBA with expertise in administering various databases(24*7) and strong understanding of architecture.
Strong Knowledge in Oracle RAC & Standalone database maintenance/troubleshooting - (19c/12c/11g)
Strong knowledge in features such as ASM,RMAN(Backup & Recovery),OEM, Datapump technologies
Expertise in Shell scripting and automation.
Good Experience in performace tuning/SQL tuning and Optimization.
Experience in Dataguard configuration and DG broker
Good exposure in planning/working on DB upgrades 12c/19c and Installation/Migration.
Good experience in AIX, Linux and Windows OS environment based DB administration.
Strong Problem solving and communication skills.
Prefer flexible team player for rotational shifts/On-call support.
Oracle enterprise manager administration, monitoring through OEM 12c and OEM 13c.
Hands on experience in Oracle database quarterly patching (latest 12c/19c releases)
Understanding & Experience in handling Multitenant architecture databases ( CDB/PDB )
Experience with data replication using GoldenGate(OGG) in a multi-master (bi-directional) heterogeneous DBs.
Should be able to mentor, manage and lead a team of L1/L2 DBAs.
