Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Cypress-based automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
• Write optimized and reusable JavaScript/TypeScript automation scripts aligned with best coding standards.
• Implement BDD/TDD methodologies using tools such as Cucumber, Mocha, or Jest
• Integrate automated tests in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Perform cross-browser testing, environment validation, and test stability tuning.
• Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to refine test strategies, acceptance criteria, and release quality metrics.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior QA engineers on automation best practices.
• Troubleshoot flaky tests, optimize execution time, and strengthen test reliability.
• Generate meaningful test reports, dashboards, and quality insights for stakeholders.
• Ensure high standards of quality across SDLC/STLC in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• 3+ years of hands-on Cypress experience (UI and API automation).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and modern testing libraries.
• Knowledge of Git, branching strategies, and pull-request workflows.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
