Role Overview

This is a role in a fast-growing outsourcing business, focusing on delivering exceptional services across

various financial and outsourced business processes. The company provides innovative solutions that

optimize operational efficiency and enhance client satisfaction.

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to join our growing outsourcing business,

supporting a portfolio of UK clients across accounting, compliance, and financial reporting.

You will work closely with our India-based delivery teams and collaborate with UK stakeholders to

ensure high-quality, reliable financial operations.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including managing general ledgers, bank reconciliations,

and accounts payable/receivable.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements,

balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Ensure timely and accurate submission of VAT returns, corporation tax, and other tax-related

filings in compliance with UK tax laws and regulations.

• Process payroll for clients, ensuring compliance with PAYE, NIC, and other payroll-related

requirements.

• Monitor the budget and escalate well in advance any potential variances to budget
• Prepare and review monthly management information
• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring completeness and accuracy of

financial data.

• Ensure that the bank statements are reconciled every week
• Identify areas for improvement in accounting processes and implement solutions to improve

efficiency and accuracy.

• Communicate regularly with clients to understand their business needs, provide financial

insights, and ensure client satisfaction.

• Assist with annual audits and the preparation of statutory accounts for filing with Companies

House and HMRC.

Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
• 35+ years of experience in accounting, preferably handling UK clients
• Strong experience in financial reporting, year-end finalization, and MIS
• Working knowledge of UK taxation (VAT, corporation tax) and compliance requirements
• Experience in outsourcing / practice environment is preferred
