About The Program

The S4 program at Siemens Energy, formally called S4E or S4E‑Unify, is one of the major global Business- & IT Transformation Programs within Siemens Energy (SE). Its key objective is to transform our historical patchwork of 23 legacy SAP systems into a completely new platform based on the latest state-of-the-art SAP S/4 HANA technology. At the same time, S4E-Unify is aiming for the optimization and harmonization of SE’s worldwide Business Processes across all Business Areas, Regions and Functions. Goal is to significantly reduce complexity, increase speed and flexibility, foster cross-organizational collaboration and finally drive significant cost reductions. The S4E-Unify core team consists of roughly 300 colleagues around the globe plus a substantial extended community of subject matter experts (SME), change network ambassadors and other contributors. It affects 40,000 global users and follows an implementation roadmap through 2030. The S4E program is delivered through phased “Unify” rollout waves, bringing sites and business areas live step by step on SAP S/4HANA. It includes standardized business templates, a defined operating model with strong governance and board‑level sponsorship, and an enhanced user experience that modernizes how employees work.

A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Test Strategy & Operations Management Lead for Integration Test Cycle (ITC) (f/m/d), you start your day aligning with internal stakeholders and external IT partners to further develop the S/4 test factory setup for Integration Testing after completed system development and before User Acceptance Testing. You manage ITC testing as the first interaction of business key users with the new process and system environment.

You oversee the integration of multiple rollout projects within the S/4 program, ensuring a scalable, efficient, and well-governed operating model. Leading a global team of IT and Business Transformation experts, you monitor testing activities across rollout projects and ensure transparency regarding progress, risks, and performance.

You drive stakeholder alignment, analyze key performance metrics, and continuously improve processes through automation and AI-driven solutions. At the end of the day, you consolidate results, prepare performance reports, and define next steps to strengthen the factory setup.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Establish and scale the S/4 test factory for the ITC scope, combining internal employees and external IT partners to enable industrialized SAP rollouts.
• Lead and govern all ITC test-related activities across the global rollout program.
• Manage the Performance Management on ITC testing scope with clear KPIs and continuous improvement mechanisms.
• Drive automation and AI-enabled testing approaches for ITC across all rollout projects to increase efficiency and quality.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and service levels for ITC scope to ensure timely and complete delivery.
• Ensure transparency through structured reporting, governance, and stakeholder alignment.
  
  
  

What You Bring

• Proven experience in managing complex IT environments or transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems (software, hardware, databases).
• Experience in large-scale rollout initiatives (preferably SAP/S/4HANA).
• Knowledge of IT operations, governance, and service management structures.
• Experience to work with external IT partners and related performance frameworks.
• Experience leading cross-functional, international teams.

About the Team (Vision / Mission of the ITC Testing Team)

You are responsible for setting up and managing all aspects of the Integration Test Cycle (ITC) for the Siemens Energy SAP S/4HANA rollout project. You have full leadership from ITC strategy development to its operational execution. In this role you leverage the setup of the S4E Program with assigned team members across all rollout projects as well as our external IT delivery partner. Your work enables us to scale the testing process to an industrialized level including automation and AI technologies that allow efficient and effective ITC test management for 10+ in-parallel rollout projects.

You manage all stakeholders related to ITC testing from across our solution factory, data migration factory, change factory to contribute towards our rollout projects and its business stakeholders. You steer the performance of the external IT service delivery partner for ITC scope and ensure in-time, in-quality, audit proof documented testing as part of the rollout projects.
