Role: Test Engineer,

Work Type: Hybdrid (3days office and 2days WFH)

Qualifications

• Experience in power systems testing or embedded system validation.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus, CAN, or similar industrial protocols.
• Experience with scripting and automation for hardware interfaces, CAN sniffers, or industrial controllers.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and safety testing for industrial products.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software/hardware testing, with a strong focus on automation.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation. Experience with Robot Framework, pytest, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with test management tools such as Jama Connect and Jira.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in debugging hardware/software issues.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilitiesability to take initiative, lead test efforts, and drive automation improvements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Python and tools like Robot Framework and pytest.
• Define, implement, and execute test strategies at the element, integration, and system levels.
• Guide and mentor junior test engineers,fostering a culture of quality, innovation, and automation excellence.
• Champion best practices in test processes, test automation, CI/CD integration, and test-driven development (TDD).
• Develop high-quality test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional, performance, and regression testing.
• Investigate test failures, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Work closely with development, product management, and system architects to ensure high-quality product releases.
• Enhance automation frameworks to increase test efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.
