Project Description:

The role focuses on implementing and maintaining automated testing solutions for modern web applications using Playwright. The consultant will work closely with development and QA teams to design scalable UI and API automation frameworks, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high software quality within Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Implement end-to-end UI automation for web applications across multiple browsers.
• Develop and execute API automation tests using Playwright or related tools.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Analyse test execution results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure high test coverage, stability, and maintainability of automation frameworks.
• Participate in test planning, test reviews, and continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Maintain version-controlled test assets and follow automation best practices.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with UI automation testing for web applications.
• Good understanding of API testing concepts, including REST APIs and request/response validation.
• Knowledge of automation framework design patterns, test data management, and test automation best practices.
• Experience using version control systems such as Git.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
• Knowledge of Docker or cloud-based testing environments.
