Job Summary
MDLZ is seeking a hands-on Automation Architect with deep expertise in TOSCA and INT4 to lead our enterprise automation platform. This role combines technical depth with leadership , managing the full automation infrastructure, licenses, virtual environments, and platform operations. The architect will own TOSCA as a product and service, driving automation with both in-house and partner teams to deliver scalable, high-quality transformation across SAP, Web, and API landscapes
Key Responsibilities
  • Architectural Leadership: Design and implement robust, enterprise-grade TOSCA & INT4 automation frameworks and custom utilities.
  • Team Management: Direct responsibility of automation engineers.
  • Strategy & Governance: Define automation best practices, folder structures, and naming conventions to ensure consistency across decentralized teams.
  • Integration: Orchestrate seamless integration of TOSCA with CI/CD pipelines and test management tools.
  • Platform Maintenance & Upgrade : automation environment setup, maintenance, upgrade and troubleshooting . Includes coordination with network, firewall , cloud ops and vendor teams for integration of the tools in MDLZ infrastructure.
  • Security & Vulnerability : work with CISO group and tool vendors to remediate vulnerabilities detected.
  • Scale Automation Platform : Scale Automation with UI and API / Virtual Services automation approach. Own and optimize automation integration with DevOps toolchain.
  • Governance & Quality : Define and govern standards and framework for consistent adoption of automation across the enterprise.
  • Technical SME: Act as a subject matter expert for TOSCA Commander, Distributed Execution (DEX), and Test Data Management (TDM).
  • Project Management Approach: Ability to plan and execute automation strategies , backlogs and roadmaps using project management methodologies.
  • Mentorship: Guide and train junior automation engineers to maintain high quality and delivery standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Automation Infrastructure Management: Hands-on experience managing virtual machines, environment setups, license administration, and system performance monitoring.
  • CI/CD Integration & Tooling : Practical knowledge of integrating TOSCA automation into DEX, qTest.
  • Scripting & Utilities: Experience in Python for automation scripts, system utilities, and custom TOSCA extensions.
  • Service Virtualization & API Testing : Working knowledge of INT4, API, and service virtualization tools for integrated testing.
  • Environment & Platform Operations: Understanding of on-prem and cloud-based execution environments (AWS , Citrix ).
Certifications: TOSCA certifications (e.g., AS1, AS2, AE1, TDS1).
Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science , B.Tech , or a related field.
