Job Description:
- Provide telephone, email, remote and on-site senior support to CeX staff and colleagues
- Communicating predominantly with English Spanish speaking end users
- Ensure emails/tickets are being handled/acknowledged in a timely manner
- Administration of Microsoft Windows Servers/Workstations, Anti-Virus, Networks, and more
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Escalate cases to the relevant department when required
- Monitoring queue of escalated incidents
- Willing to work on-call/overtime when required
- Conducting training as required/requested
- Maintain smooth running of shops from an IT standpoint
- Provide quality service to the end-user and maintain standards for the IT Services provided
- Make continual improvements to procedures and documentation
- Attend and participate in all departmental meetings/training initiatives
- Keeping up to date with the latest technologies
- Document troubleshooting procedures

Responsibilities:
- Analyse cloud resource usage and spending to identify and implement ongoing cost optimisations.
- Implement security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
- Develop and Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for a scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud environment.
- Define and enforce policies, processes, and governance for effective infrastructure management.
- Manage IAM roles and permissions for secure cloud access.
- Act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues, ensuring root cause analysis and timely resolutions.
- Research, evaluate, and lead the adoption of new technologies to improve system management at scale.
- Maintain clear documentation of cloud architecture, processes, and key technical decisions.
- Conduct periodic security assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Collaborate with Sr. SysOps and TechOps Engineers about infrastructure changes.
- Stay informed about the newest industry trends and technologies.
Required Skills:
- Deep understanding of core AWS services like Savings Plan, Budgets, Config, EC2, Lambda, ECS, IAM, Route 53, S3, VPC, Systems Manager, etc.
- Familiar with monitoring and observability tools such as Cloud Debugger, AWS Cloudwatch, Zabbix, Grafana, Inspector, and more.
- Skilled in IaC and automation using Terraform and Ansible.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Hands-on experience in Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
- Experience with serverless platforms like Google Cloud Functions, AWS Lambda, Serverless Framework, and API Gateway.
- Proficient in Linux system administration and networking concepts.
Desired Skills:
- AWS SysOps Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect, RHEL Terraform certifications.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret cost data, identify trends, etc.
