Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a strong foundation in software engineering or QA, who has transitioned into managing complex technology programs over the last few years. The role requires a balance of technical depth, delivery ownership, and cross-functional leadership in a product or platform environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end delivery of complex technology programs/projects across multiple teams
- Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, product, and business stakeholders
- Participate in technical discussions (architecture, APIs, integrations) and guide execution
- Own project/program planning, timelines, risk management, and delivery governance
- Manage cross-team dependencies and ensure alignment with business goals
- Track KPIs, milestones, and proactively mitigate delivery risks
- Drive continuous improvements in delivery efficiency, quality, and release processes
Required Skills & Experience
- 13–15 years of professional experience
- Strong technical foundation with prior experience as: Software Engineer / Developer OR QA Engineer / Test Engineer Transitioned into Technical Project Manager / Program Manager / TPM role for at least 3–5 years
Strong understanding of:
- SDLC, Agile/Waterfall methodologies
- APIs, integrations, and system architecture basics
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and complex deliveries
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to Banking / Fintech / Payments / Lending / Enterprise product environments
- Experience with tools like MS Project / JIRA / Confluence
- Experience handling multi-team or multi-project programs
- Ability to contribute to technical decision-making and solution discussions
What We’re NOT Looking For
- Pure Scrum Masters / Agile Coaches without delivery ownership
- Non-technical Project Managers
- Profiles without prior engineering or QA background
