Role Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to operate in a complex enterprise environment. The role is focused on vulnerability remediation, cloud configuration hardening, CI/CD pipeline support, and OS patching across Windows and Linux platforms. The ideal candidate is hands-on, securityfocused, and capable of working independently within structured enterprise processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 612 years’ experience in DevOps, Cloud(AWS), or Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience remediating Windows and Linux vulnerabilities
- Deep practical exposure to Linux environments (administration, troubleshooting, hardening)
- Proven experience managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (or similar tool)
- Solid understanding of patch management, system hardening, and vulnerability life cycle
- Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments
- Ability to work independently while aligning to enterprise governance and standards
- Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead remediation of security vulnerabilities identified through enterprise scanning tools
- Review, fix, and harden cloud configurations in line with organisational security and compliance standards
- Design, support, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins in enterprise-scale environments
- Perform Windows and Linux OS patching, including vulnerability fixes and system hardening
- Investigate security findings, assess risk, and implement remediation within defined SLAs
- Work closely with Security, Risk, Compliance, and Platform teams
- Operate within enterprise change, release, and incident management frameworks
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, remediation evidence, and audit artefacts
Enterprise / Regulated Environment Experience
- Experience in banking, financial services, government, or large enterprise organisations
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g. Qualys, Nessus, Prisma, Rapid7)
- Experience with change management, CAB processes, and audit requirements
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) in enterprise setups
- Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
