We at Verdantas, looking for Senior Wastewater Process Engineer to join our team.
This role will provide technical leadership in the planning, design, rehabilitation, and optimization of municipal and industrial water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure, ensuring high‑quality, compliant design solutions through effective multi‑discipline coordination, rigorous QA/QC, and mentorship of junior engineers.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, design, rehabilitation, and replacement of municipal infrastructure, including water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, storage systems, water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater systems.
Provide technical leadership on U.S. municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
Evaluate conventional and emerging treatment technologies and process alternatives to recommend optimal solutions.
Perform and review hydraulic analyses, mass balance calculations, and process monitoring for treatment systems.
Troubleshoot infrastructure system operations and develop recommendations for performance optimization and operational improvements.
Oversee and coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering efforts, including mechanical, electrical, structural, surveying, and geotechnical design components.
Coordinate with drafters and designers through 30%, 60%, 90%, and 100% design stages to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
Prepare, review, and perform QA/QC of technical reports, design documents, and performance specifications.
Coordinate with equipment vendors and technology providers as required during design and implementation.
Serve as a technical authority and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on design standards, best practices, and professional development.
Must-Have:
10-12 Years of Experience required
7+ years of experience in water/wastewater process engineering
Experience using GPS-X or Biowin software
Preferred Skills:
PE licensure
