Product Manager (Mosaic Division)
Role Overview
Responsible for
end-to-end management of mosaic products, including product development, sourcing, marketing, sales support, and coordination with production and export teams to drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- New Product Development
- Develop new mosaic designs based on market trends and client requirements
- Understand architectural drawings, application areas, and design briefs
- Coordinate with designers and factories for sampling and product development
- Raw material arrangement/procurement (marble, stone, glass, MOP, gem stones etc.) and ensure feasibility
- Marketing & Product Management
- Create catalogues, presentations, swatch folders, and sampling kits
- Updating product portfolio on website and marketing platforms
- Track market trends, competitor offerings, and new design concepts
- Support exhibitions and promotional activities
- Sales & Business Development
- Support sales team with product knowledge and client presentations
- Work closely with architects and interior designers and BD team
- Travel for dealer development and order closures
- Drive growth in Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 markets
- Export & Vendor Management
- Understand international market requirements and trends
- Coordinate with export team for product customization and execution
- Manage vendors across India and explore global sourcing opportunities
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure timely procurement
- Costing, Operations & Planning
- Handle product costing, pricing, margins, and profitability
- Coordinate with production for order execution and timelines
- Understand machinery (waterjet, CNC) for better planning
- Prepare billing plans based on orders and pipeline
Key Requirements
- Strong knowledge of mosaic materials (marble, stone, glass, MOP, etc.)
- Understanding of architectural drawings and design applications
- Experience in vendor management and sourcing
- Strong commercial acumen (costing, margins, P&L)
- Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills
- Willingness to travel (factories & market visits)
