Sr. Manager/ Asst. Vice President , Corporate Legal (Treasury)

This job role will require the incumbent to providing comprehensive legal support related to treasury, borrowings and general corporate advisory. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the wholesale lending and multiple lending landscape and updated on all applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

Role & responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on all treasury borrowings (domestic and off-shore) from a variety of sources.
• Ability to structure treasury deals from a legal perspective, draft, negotiate and finalise transaction documents with counterparties.
• Comply with applicable laws and policies of the organization while closing the transactions. • Creating a framework for covenant tracking and finalising borrowing memos. • Raising funds vide domestic and international loans and bonds.
• Assignment of standard and non-standard assets.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, partners, and service providers, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage agreements related to technology licensing, data sharing, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, data protection laws and industry standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, technology, compliance, and marketing, to provide legal insights throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with external legal advisors and regulatory bodies as necessary

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum- 7 years of experience

Relevant- 5 years in lending business Industry: NBFC/BFSI
