Job Duties and Qualifications

• Under general supervision, leveraging competencies in the technical software testing and development processes, this position will execute and evaluate software tests and learn the automated test tools. Support the technologies from a testing, usability, and trouble-shooting perspective.
• Execute on test strategies adopted by the team and used in the automated regression testing of these systems. Assists with secure architecture design reviews and supports preparing applications for security testing. Ensures security vulnerabilities have been mitigated. Documents bugs/errors/issues with system applications. Usually works on projects of moderate scope and complexity. Assists in the development of testing assignments and schedules. May require instruction and guidance during certain phases of application systems analysis.
• Requires completion of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Geo-science, Petroleum Engineering or similar discipline, and 2+ years of related experience, including software testing and/or development experience. Completion of a masters degree is preferred.Completion of a masters degree is preferred.
