About the Role:
PhysicsWallah is looking for an experienced SDET-2 to join our QA team. The role involves working on automation, mobile, web, and API testing for large-scale consumer-facing applications used by millions of learners.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in automation frameworks, mobile testing, and backend/API validation, along with a passion for delivering high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and automation testing for web, mobile, and backend applications.
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for functional and regression testing.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to ensure high-quality feature releases.
- Perform API and microservices testing.
- Execute mobile application testing and automation using Appium.
- Identify, track, and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, automation coverage, and testing best practices.
Required Skills:
- 3 to 6 years of experience in web, mobile, and backend application testing.
- Strong experience in Automation Testing using Selenium.
- Hands-on experience in Mobile Testing and Automation using Appium.
- Experience in API and Microservices Testing.
- Experience with API Automation using RestAssured.
- Strong coding skills in Java with good understanding of OOPs concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have:
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Knowledge of debugging and network tools such as Charles or Fiddler.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
