What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and test plans for features and enhancements in Adobe Animate.
- Perform cross-platform testing for desktop applications across Windows and macOS environments.
- Validate complex animation, graphics, and rendering workflows to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to identify quality risks early in the development cycle.
- Analyze product behavior, identify defects, and perform detailed root cause analysis.
- Contribute to improving overall test processes, tools, and quality engineering practices.
- Participate actively in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, test planning, and release validation.
- Ensure adherence to software development and standard testing procedures throughout the development lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent domain experience.
- 8+ years of experience in software quality engineering or testing.
- Strong expertise in cross-platform desktop application testing.
- Domain experience in animation, graphics, or rendering pipelines.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile testing practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Experience testing creative tools, graphics applications, or media software.
- Familiarity with performance testing, debugging tools, and log analysis.
- Experience validating complex user workflows and UI interactions in desktop applications.
- Ability to work effectively in large, collaborative engineering environments.
