Working with our product development centres in Mumbai, Bangalore, Bristol we are building modern software using constantly evolving agile and extreme practices. Independent autonomous teams build, maintain and support services which allows them to develop expertise in technology and business domains.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence others and to personally develop in a friendly and welcoming environment. We welcome engineering professionals from a variety of backgrounds to add to our diverse teams in our Mumbai development centre.
Job Responsibilities :
- Manage and maintain largescale automation test suites for complex enterprise products.
- Participate in the full product lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design reviews, development collaboration, solution configuration, and deployment.
- Work within an Agile environment using BehaviourDriven Development (BDD) and Continuous Deployment practices.
- Adhere to SmartStreams development processes, coding standards, and quality benchmarks.
Key Skills :
- Playwright Strong handson experience with building and maintaining Playwright automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration tools:
- Kubernetes
- Podman / Docker
- Generative AI Tools Practical knowledge and experience using modern AIbased tools for test creation, data generation, or productivity enhancement.
- NonFunctional Testing Good understanding of performance, volume, and load testing concepts.
- Advanced proficiency in JMeter is preferred.
- Ability and inclination to manage large-scale automation suites, with demonstrated skills in organisation, optimisation, and troubleshooting.
Desirable Skills :
- Basic knowledge of RDBMS technologies such as:
- Oracle
- SQL Server
- PostgreSQL
- Basic knowledge of DevOps practices, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts in Java, Angular, Typescript, Python, or any major programming language.
Experience :
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in automation testing, preferably with Playwright.
- Strong understanding of largescale enterprise software applications, ideally within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) domain.
