ServiceNow Business Data Analyst / ServiceNow Business AnalystExperience- 5+ Years in ServiceNow
Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Business Data Analyst with strong expertise in ITSM, HRSD, Service Catalog, and Agile delivery. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs with technical ServiceNow solutions by gathering requirements, conducting stakeholder workshops, preparing functional documentation, and supporting end-to-end implementation and delivery activities.The candidate should possess hands-on experience in ServiceNow delivery, process mapping, reporting, dashboards, Service Catalog implementation, Flow Designer, UAT coordination, and go-live support.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Requirement Gathering
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.
- Conduct stakeholder workshops and discovery sessions to identify business pain points and solution requirements.
- Prepare and maintain:
- BRD (Business Requirement Documents)
- FRD (Functional Requirement Documents)
- User Stories
- Acceptance Criteria
- Process Flows (AS-IS / TO-BE)
- Translate business requirements into scalable Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) ServiceNow solutions.
ServiceNow Delivery & Functional Support
- Work closely with developers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders for successful project delivery.
- Support implementation of:
- ITSM modules
- HRSD solutions
- Service Catalog items
- Record Producers
- Order Guides
- Workflows and Flow Designer automations
- Assist in Service Catalog transition and implementation activities.
- Coordinate enhancements, defect management, and release support activities.
Agile & Project Execution
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including:
- Sprint Planning
- Daily Standups
- Retrospectives
- Backlog Grooming
- Support estimation activities for Service Catalog requests and enhancements.
- Track sprint deliverables and ensure timely execution.
Testing, UAT & Go-Live Support
- Coordinate UAT activities with business users.
- Perform Service Catalog testing and defect tracking.
- Ensure successful release deployment and post go-live support.
- Conduct client training and knowledge transfer sessions.
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards for operational and business insights.
- Support automation initiatives using Flow Designer.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, governance, and operational guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and service improvement.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong knowledge of:

- Reporting & Dashboards
- Requirement gathering and stakeholder management
- Agile/Scrum delivery methodology
- Process mapping and business process analysis
- UAT coordination and release management
- Cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Understanding of ServiceNow workflows, SLAs, notifications, and integrations
Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise ServiceNow implementations
- Exposure to HR operations and employee workflows
- Knowledge of automation and digital transformation initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
