WordPress Developer (WordPress & Shopify

Position Overview -

As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining WordPress and Shopify-based e-commerce sites. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth integrations, clean code, and exceptional performance across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities -

• Design and develop custom WordPress themes.
• Develop, and maintain WordPress websites with custom themes, plugins, and integrations.
• Manage Shopify stores, including theme development, customization, and app integrations.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Liquid (Shopify templating).
• Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, performance issues, and integration challenges.
• Optimize website speed, responsiveness, and SEO performance to enhance user experience.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Design teams to implement website features, product pages, and landing pages.
• Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and payment gateways across WordPress and Shopify platforms.
• Perform regular site maintenance, updates, backups, and audits to ensure security and reliability.
• Stay updated with new technologies, industry best practices, and e-commerce trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications -

• 5+ years of experience in WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins.
• Must have Wordpress Custom Theme development experience. Shopify, including Liquid development and app integrations experience a plus.
• Experience with responsive design, cross-browser testing, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Github)
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and tools (e.g., payment processors, shipping systems).
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and technical SEO.
