RRD is looking out for a Senior Web / UI Designer for its Digital Operations team.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled designer who can deliver high-quality visual work and take ownership of end-to-end design execution. This is a hands-on role for a professional who thrives on creating beautiful, high-impact graphics and can effectively translate a brands aesthetic into clean and beautiful design.
What Youll Own / Responsibilities
- Graphic Creation: Design high-impact marketing assets including social media collaterals, mailers, digital banners, and high-quality brochures.
- UI Visuals: Create high-fidelity web designs and prototypes, ensuring strict visual consistency and adherence to brand standards.
- Publication Design: Manage complex multi-page layouts and PDF jobs, focusing on professional pagination and typography.
- Branding & Identity: Develop and refine visual components such as logos and brand guidelines across various media.
- Asset Management: Ensure all designs are prepared for high-quality output and align with general accessibility basics.
- Execution & Quality: Deliver pixel-perfect results under tight deadlines, maintaining high quality through quick, quality-driven decisions.
Must-have Skills & Experience
- Foundational Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in Visual/Graphic Design with a portfolio showcasing strong layout and typography skills.
- UI Proficiency: 1.5 to 2 years of hands-on experience in Web UI design using Figma.
- Adobe Creative Suite: Good knowledge in tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign etc.
- Alternative Design Tools: Proficiency in the Affinity Suite (Photo, Designer, Publisher) and Canva.
- UI Design Tool: Must have good command over Figma and its capabilities.
- Visual Problem Solving: Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to translate complex briefs into simple, elegant visual solutions.
Good-to-have
- AI Enhancement: Practical knowledge of AI prompting and image generation tools.
- Motion Basics: Basic familiarity with Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro for simple visual enhancements.
- Digital Standards: General understanding of design systems and web accessibility basics.
Job terms
- Work location - Teynampet, Chennai
- Working mode - Hybrid
- Shift timings - Any 9 hours between 2.30pm to 1.30am IST
