The ideal candidate should be CCNA‑certified and capable of working in a fast‑paced enterprise network support environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot L2/L3 network incidents, including switching, routing, VLAN, and WAN-related issues.
• Monitor and manage network performance across large, distributed environments.
• Work on SD‑WAN technologies for configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide permanent fixes for recurring issues.
• Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and configuration logs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve complex network problems.
• Support implementation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices.
• Assist in proactive monitoring and alert handling using tools like Zabbix.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• CCNA certification (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching concepts (OSPF, BGP basics, VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, etc.).
• Experience in network troubleshooting in an enterprise environment.
• Hands‑on knowledge of SD‑WAN technologies (any platform—VeloCloud preferred if applicable).
• Good understanding of firewalls, load balancers, or wireless (basic preferred).
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (Zabbix experience is a plus).
• Ability to work in 24x7 support or rotational shifts if required.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
Good to Have:
• Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation and reporting.
• Experience in Zabbix configuration or similar monitoring tools.
• Exposure to cloud networking (AWS/Azure) or virtualization technologies.
• Experience with Juniper devices (if relevant for your environment).
