We are looking for a highly skilled Network Support Engineer with 1 to 4 years of experience in IT, based in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of standard internet protocols and diagnostic tools.
Roles and Responsibility
- Respond to technical inquiries and log service requests.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and switches.
- Troubleshoot wide area networks, servers, routers, local area networks, and switches.
- Install or upgrade software and hardware as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (B.Tech/B.E.).
- At least 1 year of experience in IT, preferably in network support.
- Strong knowledge of Linux OS and Microsoft OS.
- Experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of various packages.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of network protocols such as SSH, FTP, SFTP, HTTP, POP, SMTP, IMAP, and SNMP.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools like ping and trace route.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
