Job Description
Provide technical leadership across MEP, architectural, structural, and civil data centre designs
Review and approve drawings, calculations, and deliverables produced by the Mumbai team
Ensure compliance with US codes and standards (IBC, NFPA, NEC, ASHRAE, redundancy concepts)
Act as the primary interface with US-based project managers and technical leads
Hire, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary data centre design team
Establish QA/QC processes, delivery standards, and scalable design capability in India
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural) or Architecture Master's preferred
12-18+ years experience in building, industrial, or mission‑critical projects, with deep exposure to data centres
Proven hands-on expertise across data centre MEP and multidisciplinary coordination
Strong understanding of US codes and standards (IBC, NFPA, NEC, ASHRAE) and reliability concepts (N, N+1, 2N)
Prior experience working with US clients or US-based design teams
Demonstrated capability in building, mentoring, and leading multidisciplinary teams
Excellent English communication skills and comfort working with US time-zone stakeholders
Commercially aware, quality-driven, and comfortable taking ownership of delivery and outcomes
