About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Performance Test Engineer who enjoys improving the scalability, reliability, and performance of large-scale software systems. In this role, you will work in an agile, collaborative environment alongside full stack engineers and product teams to help ensure our applications perform well as they grow and evolve. This position is well suited for someone who is curious, analytical, and motivated by solving performance challenges in cloud-based systems.
Responsibilities
- Improve and modernize existing benchmarking tools to support cloud-based environments
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand and gather non-functional requirements
- Design and develop automated performance testing scenarios, including support for new features such as multi-tenancy
- Apply your experience with cloud performance measurement to strengthen existing benchmarking practices
- Monitor test execution and analyze test results to identify trends and performance risks
- Support development teams by helping investigate and resolve performance-related issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices, tools, and processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in performance testing using tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter
- Experience using Python for performance or test automation
- Working knowledge of shell scripting
- Hands-on experience measuring and analyzing performance in cloud environments (such as AWS or Azure)
- Familiarity with performance testing and monitoring tools commonly used in cloud-based systems
- Experience executing, monitoring, and interpreting automated performance tests
