Role & responsibilities
Legal Management
- Lead and manage legal affairs for the group companies across various business verticals.
- Provide legal advisory and strategic support to senior management on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and operational matters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, corporate governance practices, and internal policies.
- Coordinate and manage litigation matters, legal notices, disputes, arbitration, and external counsel.
- Review and advise on legal implications of business transactions, investments, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
Contract Management
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize various commercial agreements, including vendor agreements, service contracts, NDAs, lease agreements, joint venture agreements, and business contracts.
- Develop standardized contract management processes, templates, and governance mechanisms.
- Monitor contractual obligations, risk exposure, renewals, and compliance requirements across the group.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure commercial and legal risks are appropriately addressed in agreements.
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
- Develop and implement Enterprise Risk Management frameworks, policies, and risk assessment methodologies across group entities.
- Identify, evaluate, monitor, and mitigate strategic, operational, financial, legal, and compliance risks.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments and prepare risk registers, mitigation plans, and management reports.
- Drive risk awareness initiatives and strengthen the organizations risk culture.
- Present risk analysis, compliance updates, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership and management committees.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors Degree in Law (LLB) / Masters Degree in Law (LLM) preferred.
- Additional certifications in Risk Management, Compliance, or Contract Management will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in Legal, Contract Management, and Enterprise Risk Management at Group/Corporate level.
- Strong exposure to corporate legal matters, commercial contracting, regulatory compliance, and risk governance.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in handling multi-entity/group structure operations is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage cross-functional coordination effectively.
- Strong understanding of corporate laws, commercial laws, and risk management practices.
