What this job involves:
The Senior Finance Executive will ensure book closing is smooth in all aspects of monthly and quarterly processes while being responsible for Accounts Payable, PO creation, and Accounts Receivable. You will be responsible for successful delivery of a comprehensive range of financial services and support, ensuring IFM meets its financial commitment goals. This role requires you to manage the day-to-day financial and accounting operations and support Account Managers for accounts' billing and invoicing. You will produce accurate accruals for book closing of monthly and quarterly cycles within specific deadlines, coordinate with the Operation team to collect Managed and Principal vendor invoices, and process them in the system in a timely manner. This position requires you to create Annual and Adhoc POs for Managed and Principal vendors, collect and reconcile the Managed and Principal vendors' "No due certificate" on a quarterly basis, and ensure IFM complies with local JLL Finance policies and controls while managing end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Produce accurate accruals for book closing of monthly and quarterly cycles within specific deadlines, ensuring smooth book closing in all aspects
- Coordinate with Operation team and collect the Managed and Principal vendor invoices, processing them in the system in a timely manner
- Create Annual and Adhoc POs for Managed and Principal vendors, collecting and reconciling the Managed and Principal vendors' "No due certificate" on a quarterly basis
- Provide comments for month-on-month actual variances, ensuring IFM complies with local JLL Finance policies and controls
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, handling monthly expense and debtors' management
- Support client and accounts' billing and invoicing, delivering finance training programs to Operations and procurement teams
- Work with site team to support contract pricing, pro-forma reviews, and provide contract language inputs as required
- Provide timely and accurate reporting and quality analysis of financial results to senior management, proactively resolving daily financial and operational issues
- Support ad hoc projects related to technology and process, engaging in client interaction as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be qualified in B.Com / BBM / M.Com / MBA
- At least 5 to 7 years of experience in Finance/Accounting with preferably some experience in the real estate industry
- Sound technical expertise in internal management reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and month-end accounting
- Sound Excel knowledge (Macro creation is a plus)
- Passionate about partnering with the business
- Must be both a team and individual contributor
- Can-do attitude with ability to multi-task and work under pressure and long hours
- Working knowledge of JDE/PeopleSoft/Oracle highly advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Integrated Facilities Management finance operations
- Track record of ensuring smooth monthly and quarterly book closing processes
- Experience coordinating with Operations teams for vendor invoice collection and processing
- Background in creating and managing POs for Managed and Principal vendors
- Experience collecting and reconciling vendor "No due certificate" documentation
- Ability to provide variance analysis and commentary for month-on-month actuals
- Experience delivering finance training programs to cross-functional teams
- Background supporting contract pricing and pro-forma reviews
- Experience with technology and process improvement projects
- Strong analytical skills for quality analysis of financial results
- Proven ability to proactively resolve financial and operational issues
- Experience supporting Account Managers with billing and invoicing processes
- Track record of ensuring compliance with finance policies and controls.
