Our mission is simple: End Cyber Risk. We're looking for a/an Senior Developer to be part of making this/that happen.

Position Overview And Objective

The Senior Developer will contribute to our IDR team through professional software development projects. You'll be working as a software developer on one of our Cloud Teams, responsible for ensuring availability of our 3rd party integrations and presenting actionable data to our Security Services teams.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining Python based applications, software, and systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design software solutions.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and reusable code in Python.
  • Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  • Debugging and fixing issues in existing Python codebases.
  • Optimizing application performance and ensuring scalability.
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle, building well-designed, testable, efficient, secure code.
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system; document and maintain software functionality.
  • Understand the product and how Security Services delivers the service.
  • Develop professional expertise, apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Determine a course of action based on guidelines, and modify processes and methods as required.
  • Continuously learning and adopting best practices for code quality, software development methodologies, and programming principles to enhance coding skills and stay updated with industry advancements.
  • Being on-call on a rotation basis.

Experience & Requirements

  • 6 or more years of professional experience as a Software Developer in an Agile environment
  • Experience consists of contributing to projects in either Python
  • Experience consists of working in a team of Software Developers and contributing code independently
  • Experience consists of directly impacting the architecture and design of large scale, distributed systems
  • Experience working in Agile development teams.
  • A clear history of learning and skills development. Regularly helps software developers develop their skills in a variety of ways.
