Job Purpose

Bajaj Finance Ltd’s TICC – Tech Innovation and Collaboration Center is one of its kind Tech lab and experience center setup up in Pune. The person will be responsible for co-designing, enabling and running of this innovation center where tech exploration knows no bars. The position is responsible for tracking new technology developments in areas of interest to the organization to ensure that it maintains a technological edge within the industry, analyzing and improving upon technology standards and maintaining organizational awareness of new technologies. Continuous research and experimentation with futuristic and progressive tech and solutions. Coordinate with Primary Tech Partners for forward looking R&D, prototyping and solutioning, EBCs etc.

Create new sourcing opportunities, provide support for feasible ideas, ensure that there is collaboration within all levels of an organization making sure promising projects / fintech solutions gets well understood and adopted. Manage Events and Visits (Inward & Outward facing & Industry Events). Knowledge sharing and tech evangelism by contributing to Knowledge HUB, and executing Tech events, meets & workshops.

Duties And Responsibilities

TICC activities

•  Lead and assist in execution of our Innovation Strategy
•  Lead the Innovation Portfolio verticals
•  Startups Cohort identification and management
•  Coordinate with Primary Tech Partners for forward looking R&D, prototyping and solutioning, EBCs etc
•  Scout and engage with Fintech & Startups for relevant innovative and cost-effective solutions
•  Primary and Secondary research papers and case studies, demos, workshops
•  Proactive Researches, Reports, Content writing for Knowledge Hub
•  Develop and Manage Innovation & Tech marketplace pipeline on floor
•  BFL Events, Startup Days, EBC management & hosting
•  Manage the Innovation Center, Tech, Projects and Partners 
•  Contracts, Payment & Procurement management
•  Assisting in drafting long rage strategies for organization
•  Participating in Industry Tech events
•  Engage internal Partners / Stakeholders
•  Prepare Presentations and reports on TICC activities and initiatives for management reporting and reviews
  
  
  

IT & Business Solutions R&D

•  Own and lead Tech R&D initiatives – Proactive & on-demand research and development, evaluating solutions and technologies.
•  Research and be aware of latest trends and technologies in Fintech / BFSI / New & Deep Tech areas
•  Helping senior management and internal clients to understand the results and implications of tech & Innovation initiatives.
•  Meet organizational needs and capitalize on potential new products, service opportunities
•  Should demonstrate knowledge of product features and ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production|
•  Demonstrate knowledge of methods and tools of research and development and ability to conduct daily and strategic work in an organization's research and development department
•  Along with partners / solution companies design working prototypes / POCs of a variety of proposed products or services to prove or disprove validity of proposed products.
•  Ability to roll-up sleeves / hands on nature is key
•  Monitor’s any developments in the research area and work out how these may affect the organization
•  Technical Interactions with vendors or partners in technical capacity for deliverables (proof of concept etc.)
  
  
  

Mandatory Skills

•  Hands-on innovation & startup engagement program management experience
•  Strong communication (verbal & written) skills and ability to quickly grasp concepts and drive with agility as independent developer
•  Excellent in presentation and reports preparation to showcase output of work and initiatives, research, RFPs and market research and comparative analysis
•  Very comfortable in interacting with and managing all stakeholders – Internal as well as OEM, Primary Tech Partners and Startups (Sales, Product, Tech, Finance & CXO)
•  Self-starter/Able to drive with minimal follow-up

Required Qualifications And Experience

•  Qualifications
•  Postgraduate from a leading institute with Experience minimum 5-7 years of having leveraged technology for achieving KPI’s and driving technology innovation (BE./B.Tech/MCA/B.Tech+MBA)
