SAP CRM Developer – Job Description (Generic)
Role Overview
The SAP CRM Developer is responsible for the design, development, enhancement, and support of SAP CRM technical components using ABAP and related CRM frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom solutions in SAP CRM using ABAP
- Enhance and support:
- CRM Web UI components
- BOL / GENIL components
- One Order Framework
- Create technical designs based on Functional Specifications
- Develop RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows)
- Perform unit testing and support SIT/UAT
- Debug and resolve production issues
- Support CRM middleware queues, BDOCs, and integration issues
- Work closely with Functional Consultants and Basis teams
- Follow coding standards and documentation best practices
Required Skills
- Strong experience in ABAP for SAP CRM
- CRM Web UI, BOL/GENIL, Enhancement Framework
- One Order framework and Middleware basics
- Integration knowledge (IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services)
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
Good to Have
- SAP UI5 / Fiori / OData exposure
- Experience with SAP CX or Service Cloud extensions
- Experience in S/4HANA conversion / migration projects
Experience
- 6–9 years of relevant SAP CRM technical experience
