Project Role Description :Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive testing strategies that enhance the overall application lifecycle. The role includes integrating various components within the development ecosystem to ensure seamless delivery and high-quality outcomes. Daily activities encompass continuous testing efforts focusing on security, application programming interfaces, and regression suites. The position also involves developing and maintaining automation frameworks, supporting data and environment configurations, and actively participating in code reviews. Monitoring and reporting defects are integral to fostering ongoing improvements in testing processes and product quality.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of automation strategies to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall skill levels and performance.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align testing objectives with project goals and timelines.

Must To Have Skills:
Proficiency in Selenium.
- Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
- Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.
- Ability to configure and manage test environments and data to simulate real-world scenarios.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools to monitor quality metrics and reporting.
- Knowledge of security testing principles and API testing methodologies to ensure robust application security.




Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
