We're hiring a Quality Analyst to own the testing layer that keeps our app and platform rock-solid as we scale.

About the Role

We're hiring a Quality Analyst (QA Engineer) to embed with our small but fast-moving tech team. You'll own end-to-end testing of our customer app, internal tools, and web platform — manual testing today, with a path to automation as the team grows.

This is a hands-on, ship-with-engineers role. You'll write test cases, run regression suites, file clean bug reports, sign off on releases, and be the last line of defence before customers see anything. What You'll Do

• Write and maintain test cases and test plans for new features across web + mobile (iOS + Android)

• Run manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing for every release

• Test API endpoints end-to-end using Postman or similar tools

• Run cross-browser and cross-device compatibility checks

• File clear, reproducible bug reports in Jira / Linear with steps, screenshots, and logs

• Triage and re-test fixes; verify deployments in staging and production

• Partner closely with developers, product, and design — review specs early, flag edge cases before code is written

• Help build a lightweight QA process as we grow — test case repository, bug severity rubric, release checklist

• Own release sign-off for the customer app and admin dashboards

• Begin automation for stable, high-frequency flows (Selenium / Playwright / Cypress) as you grow into it

What We're Looking For

• 2–4 years of hands-on software QA / testing experience (web + mobile)

• Strong manual testing fundamentals — test design, exploratory testing, regression

• Hands-on with API testing (Postman or equivalent)

• Comfortable with bug tracking tools (Jira / Linear / ClickUp)

• Basic SQL — can write SELECT queries, joins, filters to verify data

• Experience testing mobile apps (iOS + Android) on real devices

• Strong written communication — bug reports that engineers can act on without follow-up

• Detail-oriented, ownership mindset — you don't sign off until you're sure

• Comfortable working on-site 6 days/week at our Gurgaon Sector 49 office

• A genuine love for pets — you'll be testing apps that book their grooming and boarding

Bonus Points

• Exposure to automation frameworks — Selenium / Playwright / Cypress / Appium

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Jenkins / similar) and how QA fits in

• Worked in Agile / Scrum environments

• ISTQB Foundation certification

• Experience at a D2C / consumer / services startup

• Has tested booking, payment, or marketplace flows

• Comfortable with basic performance testing (JMeter / k6) or browser DevTools profiling
