Role & responsibilities

• Contribute to test planning, estimation, design, and execution aligned with sprint backlog, release scope, and product priorities
• Analyze software requirements and user stories to derive robust positive and negative test scenarios for complex workflows
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory testing of Windows desktop applications developed using C# and WPF
• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and frameworks using Ranorex, Python
• Validate high-performance APIs through effective test strategies and automation
• Utilize Python and PowerShell for test automation, scripting, environment setup, and productivity tooling
• Work with GitLab CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests into build and deployment workflows, ensuring continuous quality validation
• Coordinate with test engineers, developers, and system testing teams to align on quality goals, timelines, and releases
• Track and communicate testing progress, defect metrics, quality status, and release risks clearly to stakeholders
• Manage defects, test cases, and traceability using tools like Jira, Zephyr, and TestRail
• Support release readiness activities, including regression validation, defect triage, and quality sign-offs
• Leverage AI-assisted testing approaches to improve test design, defect analysis, and overall QA productivity

• Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, or related field
• 8–10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with strong automation testing expertise and good exposure to manual testing
• Hands-on experience testing Windows desktop applications (C#, WPF)
• Working knowledge of C# / .NET and understanding of backend service-based architectures
• Experience validating API-based systems, including exposure to gRPC services and microservice communication patterns
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using Python and/or PowerShell
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred) and integrating automated test suites
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams

• Familiarity with BIM/CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit) or engineering/design software domains
• Experience with hardware-integrated or measurement systems
• Exposure to AI-driven testing approaches and modern QA practices
