About the Role
We are seeking a Python + DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and operate secure, scalable, cloud-native applications. The role focuses on Python-based REST API development, Azure deployment and release management, and serverless and microservices architectures, supported by strong Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) practices. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, define effective branching and deployment strategies, and automate Azure deployments across environments. The position emphasizes secure access control, cost optimization, performance tuning, and delivery within a modern Agile/Scrum framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Python-based REST APIs and microservices
- Deploy and manage applications across Azure using release management best practices
- Build serverless and microservices architectures on Azure
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
- Define branching and deployment strategies across environments
- Provide production support for Databricks deployment and platform issues
- Drive cost optimization, performance tuning, and secure access control
- Operate within an Agile/Scrum delivery framework
Must-Have Skills
- Strong DevOps engineering background (primary skill)
- Hands-on Python development (secondary skill)
- Azure cloud expertise with AZ-900 certification
- CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
- Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
- End-to-end deployment experience
- Production support for Databricks deployment and platform
