About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer with strong expertise in automation and cloud monitoring to design and implement scalable observability solutions in AWS environments. The role focuses on building event-driven monitoring frameworks, intelligent alerting systems, and automation workflows to enhance reliability and reduce operational overhead. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, AWS services like CloudWatch and Event Bridge, and a deep understanding of monitoring and alerting systems in large-scale distributed environments.

What You'll Do:

• Design and implement health check frameworks for AWS infrastructure and application workloads using Python
• Build performance monitoring solutions to track availability, latency, throughput, and error rates across distributed systems
• Proactively identify bottlenecks, failure patterns, and resource saturation before customer impact
• Design and implement intelligent alerting using AWS CloudWatch, SNS, and Event Bridge
• Define alert severity models, escalation workflows, and noise? Reduction strategies
• Ensure alerts are actionable, contextual, and routed to the appropriate teams
• Build event Driven automation and service request workflows triggered by alerts and system events
• Integrate alerting with incident and request management workflows to reduce MTTR and manual effort
• Develop Python Based automation to validate configuration consistency across multiple AWS accounts
• Detect and report configuration drift, policy violations, and monitoring gaps
• Enable remediation or escalation workflows for critical inconsistencies
• Implement comprehensive logging, metrics, and tracing strategies for deep operational visibility
• Leverage AWS X? Ray for distributed tracing and root? Cause analysis
• Continuously improve observability coverage and system reliability through automation and feedback loops
• Collaborate cross? Functionally with platform, operations, and application engineering teams

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 8-12 years of hands-on experience building monitoring, alerting, and automation systems
• Expert level Python development skills with real world automation use cases
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda, CloudWatch, SNS, Event Bridge, and X-Ray
• Proven experience designing and operating production grade observability and alerting frameworks
• Experience working in enterprise, multi account AWS environments
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and validation of logic and computations
• Solid understanding of event driven architectures and workflow-based automation
• Experience improving operational reliability through proactive monitoring and alert optimization
• Exposure to enterprise observability tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, or similar platforms (good to have)
• Familiarity with SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets (good to have)
• Experience integrating monitoring and alerting with incident management systems (good to have)
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive systems end-to-end
• Excellent problem-solving skills and system level thinking
• Clear and effective communication skills for collaboration across engineering and operations teams
