Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget The incumbent would be responsible for the following: 1. Project Planning & Tracking - Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, timelines, and schedules based on customer requirements - Establish clear project objectives, deliverables, and key milestones - Oversee and guide project execution from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to agreed plans - Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to align on project requirements, expectations, and deliverables 2. Risk & Issue Management - Proactively identify potential project risks and issues, and define effective mitigation and contingency plans - Track project performance and progress, proactively adjusting plans to ensure delivery timelines and quality are met 3. Communication & Reporting - Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing regular and structured updates on project status - Ensure clear, timely, and effective communication across project teams, stakeholders, and senior management - Maintain seamless coordination with Production Planning & Control (PPC) to dynamically manage fluctuating workloads and changing priorities arising from: a)Customer requirement changes b)Design modifications c)Manufacturing priority shifts - Establish and manage an internal communication and tracking mechanism to ensure transparency of project status at all stages - Ensure timely escalation of critical issues and deviations to relevant stakeholders - Manage and streamline project-related communication using appropriate digital applications and tools 4.Organizational Imperatives -Actively participating and originating Kaizens -Actively involving in Business Excellence initiatives -Adhere to Compliance and Safe Working Environment

REQUISITE QUALIFICATION

Essential:

Degree / Diploma in Engineering

Preferred:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or Project Management)

REQUISITE WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential:

2 years of experience for Degree in Engineering OR 4 years of experience for Diploma in Engineering

Preferred:

1-2 years of experience in project management

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

Essential:

1. Highly organized, results-driven & Problem solving 2. Good written and verbal communication skills 3. Knowledge & Handon experience on Microsoft Projects 4. Willing to travel across India

Preferred:

PMP or similar project management certification preferred
