Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and The objective of this role is to own and drive predictable, high‑quality delivery of multiple embedded systems projects across Automotive and Industrial Automation domains, while acting as the single point of accountability for customers. The Project Manager is responsible for aligning customer expectations with engineering execution through transparent communication, disciplined project governance, proactive risk management, and continuous audit readiness.

The role exists to ensure that projects are delivered in compliance with domain‑specific quality and safety standards, within agreed scope, schedule, and cost, by effectively leveraging shared engineering resources across programs. The Project Manager enables sustained customer trust by maintaining delivery predictability, quality rigor, and regulatory compliance, while balancing commercial, technical, and operational constraints typical of a services organization.

Roles & Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of embedded systems projects including

• Firmware development
• Hardware–software integration
• RTOS, BSP, and device drivers

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities, dependencies, and customer commitments.

Create and maintain:

• Project plans and schedules
• Effort and cost estimates
• Risk and issue registers
• Delivery dashboards and metrics

Manage cross‑functional teams including firmware development, QA/testing, integration, DevOps, release engineering, and customer stakeholders.

Facilitate execution using Agile / Hybrid / V‑Model SDLC, including:

• Sprint Planning
• Daily Stand‑ups
• Reviews and Retrospectives

Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and milestones

Drive requirements clarification, scope definition, and change control with impact analysis and customer alignment.

Ensure strict adherence to embedded lifecycle processes, customer‑specific delivery models, and organizational QMS.

Act as the primary owner of customer communication, including:

• Status reporting
• Demos and milestone reviews
• Escalation and corrective action management

Coordinate with Release Engineering for:

• Firmware release planning
• Branching strategies
• CI/CD pipelines
• Release documentation

Provide functional and people leadership to assigned team members (Test Leads, Senior Engineers, Engineers).

Create a team culture focused on ownership, accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.

Act as a role model for professional behaviour, customer mindset, and delivery discipline.

Mandatory Skills

Mandatory: 1.Proven experience as a Project Manager in embedded systems services 2. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a customer facing environment 3. Strong ownership of end to end delivery (scope, schedule, cost, quality) 4.Hands on experience with project planning, tracking, estimation, and execution control 5.Strong capability in risk, issue, and change management 6.Strong customer facing communication skills, both written and verbal 7.Ability to handle escalations, discussions

Desirable Skills

Good to have 1. Exposure to ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, IEC 62443 or OEM/Tier 1 delivery processes 2. Experience working on Industrial Automation systems (controllers, gateways, PLC like devices) or Automotive Controllers and systems 3. Familiarity with industrial safety, quality, or compliance expectations 4. Exposure to commercial aspects of services delivery (effort estimation, change requests, margin awareness) 5. Experience optimizing shared resource pools across projects 6. Familiarity with branching
