Job Description: Specialist, Procurement

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare solicitation documents (RFP/RFQ) for procurement of goods and services for various functions such as Office and Administration, HR, Project Management and Engineering.
  • Negotiate price, specifications, delivery dates, payment terms, terms & conditions, and other elements of the proposal/order.
  • Establish and maintain procurement files in accordance with company policies.
  • Perform market research and price analysis, as necessary.
  • Lead clarification and negotiations for purchase order award, changes and back charges as required.
  • Utilize MS Dynamics to issue Purchase Orders
  • As required, performs Expediting of purchase orders to monitor vendor progress including to ensure timely shipment of equipment/material to the Project in a safe and cost-efficient manner.
  • As required, coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers.
  • Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports.
  • Office and service agreements (like AMC, consulting, engineering, studies type agreements)
  • Procurement of goods and services for various functions such as Administration, HR, Project Management Engineering.

Skills Required

  • Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 5-7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Understanding of office and service agreements (like AMC, consulting, engineering, studies type agreements).
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage shifting priorities.
  • Be able to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal/external stakeholders and contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
