Key Responsibilities

Understand, gather, and analyze business and technical requirements; ask relevant questions for clarity

Design and develop scalable software solutions using appropriate architecture, design patterns, and best practices

Write efficient, clean, and maintainable code following coding standards

Work on microservices-based architecture and distributed systems

Perform performance tuning and optimization of applications and databases

Develop and integrate messaging systems and orchestration workflows

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues; perform root cause analysis (RCA)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and product teams
-
Participate in Agile development processes and CI/CD pipelines
-
Ensure proper configuration, release management, and change control
-
(For telecom-related roles) Work with network protocols and telecom systems where applicable
Mandatory Skills
-
Strong understanding of SDLC: requirement analysis, design, and development
-
Expertise in software/system architecture, design patterns, and anti-patterns
-
Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and multi-threading
-
Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java / C / C++ / PHP
-
Experience with scripting languages: Python / Perl / Shell
-
Hands-on experience with message queues and orchestration tools
-
Experience with microservices architecture
-
Strong knowledge of performance tuning techniques
Desired Skills

Experience in database programming (DB tuning, indexing, keys, triggers)
-
Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, MariaDB) and NoSQL databases

Knowledge of configuration management, release management, and change control
-
Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Sonar, Selenium, Sahi, build tools, security tools)

Understanding of Agile methodologies

Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
