Job Description: Oracle EBS SCM SME
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) SCM Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 15+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management. The ideal candidate will have deep functional and solutioning expertise in Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Purchasing, and Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), along with mandatory knowledge of India Localization and GST compliance.
The role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to design and deliver scalable, customized solutions to meet complex business requirements across industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive Oracle EBS SCM initiatives, focusing on Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Configure, implement, and optimize key modules including Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Purchasing, and OTM to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with India Localization and GST regulations, including tax configurations and statutory reporting.
- Architect and deliver custom solutions such as extensions, integrations, workflows, and reports tailored to business needs.
- Conduct gap analysis and design scalable, best-practice solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Logistics to deliver integrated solutions.
- Lead integration efforts with third-party logistics providers and external ERP systems.
- Provide leadership during implementations, upgrades, and support engagements, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and best practices.
- Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear requirements translation and solution delivery.
- Mentor junior consultants and team members, promoting SCM best practices and knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 15+ years of Oracle EBS SCM experience with exposure to Oracle Fusion SCM.
- Strong functional expertise in:
- Order Management (OM)
- Advanced Pricing
- Purchasing
- Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)
- Proven experience in leading end-to-end implementations in manufacturing or distribution domains.
- Mandatory expertise in India Localization and GST compliance.
- Strong experience in custom solution design within Oracle EBS (extensions, personalization, integrations, and workflows).
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of industry best practices in Supply Chain Management.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Oracle Fusion SCM modules and migration/upgrade projects
- Experience in large-scale digital transformation programs
- Familiarity with integration tools and middleware
- Knowledge of cross-functional integration with Oracle Financials
Education
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or a related field
- MBA in Operations/Supply Chain (preferred)

In 2014, we diversified into the FMEG segment and our key FMEG products are switches and switchgear and conduits & accessories.
