Job Requirements:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive OCI Cloud Administrator to manage, support, and optimize our Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in administering cloud resources, ensuring security and compliance, automating deployments, and supporting business continuity
Provision, configure, monitor, and maintain resources in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (compute, storage, network, databases, etc.).
Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, users, groups, and roles in OCI.
Implement and maintain cloud security best practices including VCNs, security lists, NSGs, and compartments.
Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting (Shell, Terraform, Ansible, OCI CLI, etc.).
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity, leveraging OCI monitoring and logging tools.
Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery configurations for key workloads.
Collaborate with application, DevOps, and database teams for cloud resource requirements and issue resolution.
Assist with OCI budgeting, cost estimation, and tracking of cloud usage.
Participate in cloud incident response and troubleshooting.
Keep current with OCI service updates and enhancements and assess their applicability.
Work Experience
Bachelor is degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or similar cloud platforms.
Strong knowledge of OCI services (Compute, Block/Object Storage, VCN, Load Balancers, Autonomous DB, etc.).
Experience with OCI CLI, Resource Manager (Terraform), and/or SDKs.
Good understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Load Balancing, IPsec, etc.).
Familiarity with backup, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies in OCI.
Experience with monitoring tools like OCI Monitoring, Logging, and Notifications.
Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
OCI certifications (e.g., OCI Foundations, OCI Architect Associate/Professional) are highly desirable.
