Job Title: ORACLE APEX Service Delivery Manager. Job Description. We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Service Delivery Manager who is not only an expert developer but also possesses strong project management and business analysis skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience in Oracle APEX development, project delivery, and leading teams. This role demands a highly skilled professional who can estimate project durations, assign tasks to team members, willing to create FRS documentations and serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders.
  • Service Delivery Management. Oversee the delivery of Oracle APEX projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Estimate project timelines and resource requirements, assigning tasks effectively to team members to meet deadlines.
  • Act as the primary point of contact (POC) for business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement automation cases as part of service improvement using AI to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform thorough assessment of business requirements and provide informed recommendations to the project team on whether to implement the solution using Oracle APEX or Snowflake, ensuring the chosen technology best aligns with business needs and technical feasibility.
  • Development Leadership. Lead the design, development, and deployment of Oracle APEX applications in line with business requirements.
  • Write Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS) and User Requirements Specifications (URS) to guide development and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Support business and developers in drafting comprehensive FRS and URS documentation.
  • Technical Skills and Capabilities. Proficiency in Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, and RESTful Web Services integration.
  • Experience with reporting tools and frameworks, such as Jasper Reports and integration with platforms like Snowflake and GoAnywhere.
  • Strong understanding of application migration processes, particularly from Oracle Forms to Oracle APEX.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and version control systems like GIT and SVN.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment practices.
  • Capability to conduct thorough code reviews, testing, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Solution Architecture. Collaborate with technical teams to design scalable and efficient solutions for new projects.
  • Ensure that architectural designs meet business needs and adhere to best practices in application development.
  • Technical Mentorship. Provide technical leadership to both internal and external teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Mentor junior developers, offering guidance on best practices in Oracle APEX development and project management.
  • Stakeholder Communication. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and facilitate decision-making.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is maintained and updated regularly.
  • Minimum 12 to 15 years of experience in Oracle APEX development and service delivery management.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, and JavaScript.
  • Proven experience in writing FRS and URS documents.
  • Extensive experience in integrating applications with REST APIs and third-party platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in project management and agile methodologies.
  • Proven experience in developing Oracle APEX applications integrated with AI technologies to enhance application capabilities, automate business processes, and increase overall team productivity.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with business stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience leading diverse teams and managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Oracle APEX certified is preferred.
  • Note: The candidate should be willing to work in hybrid model (2-3 days working from office) and in UK shift 1.30 PM to 10.30 PM IST.
