Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on testing of L3 networking protocols on switches and routers.
- Validate and test network protocols including TCP/IP, ARP, DHCP, QoS, IPSec, BGP, OSPF, NAT, VRRP, and STP.
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for network systems.
- Identify, log, track, and manage defects through resolution with development teams.
- Participate in release testing and ensure readiness of network software/hardware releases.
- Work closely with development teams to analyze and troubleshoot network issues.
- Execute regression, functional, and integration testing for network features.
- Maintain test documentation and ensure compliance with testing standards.
- Work in Linux-based environments for network testing and validation.
- Utilize Python scripting for test automation (added advantage).
- Continuously learn and adapt to new networking technologies and protocols.
