We are looking for a skilled Linux Administrator to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of experience and be responsible for performing basic administration tasks, monitoring system health, and handling incidents.
Roles and Responsibility
- Perform basic administration tasks such as user creation, access management, and permissions.
- Monitor system health, services, and disk utilization to ensure optimal performance.
- Handle L1/L2 incidents and service requests related to Linux OS.
- Execute routine tasks like patching, updates, and scheduled maintenance activities.
- Support file system management, mounts, and basic storage tasks.
- Maintain system logs and escalate issues when necessary.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux, and Ubuntu.
- Experience with patching, updates, and scheduled maintenance activities.
- Familiarity with security standards, compliance rules, and change procedures.
- Ability to update documentation, SOPs, and operational checklists.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
The role focuses on routine system maintenance, monitoring, and incident handling under defined procedures, with guidance from senior administrators.
